Without a plan you can book single lessons: EUR 32 (30 min), EUR 42 (45 min) or EUR 56 (60 min), no subscription and no joining fee.

About your piano teacher

Mirco Lieber, MMag. is a concert musician and online music teacher. His own degrees are in accordion (Konzertfach, Ljubljana) and harpsichord (Konzertfach, MDW Vienna), and he has taught keyboard instruments for more than 30 years in all genres. He teaches live from his studio in Ponta Delgada on the Azores (GMT+0), so lessons work well for students in the UK, Ireland, North America, Australia and New Zealand.

Yes. Over Zoom Mirco watches your hands, plays along and corrects timing, voicings and dynamics live. Lessons can be recorded, and you get practice notes after each session.

Can beginners play film music?

Yes. Many famous themes can be played in simplified arrangements with a single melody line and a few chords, and then built up step by step as you improve.

Do I need to read sheet music for film themes?

It helps, but you can start without it. Mirco teaches you to play from chord symbols and lead sheets, and reads standard notation with you step by step.

Can you help me choose a film piece for my level?

Yes. Tell Mirco which film or TV themes you love, and he finds or adapts an arrangement that suits your level, so you play something you enjoy from the first lessons.

What will I learn in film music lessons?
